It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of our father, Jerrome Williams, who left us on May 7, 2025, at the age of 64, after a long illness.
He was born to Rubystein Crawford and Calvin Crawford in Memphis, TN.
He left lasting impressions through his laughter, his cooking, and the music that always played in the background of his life. He was also known for his persistence and determination.
Our dad found joy in his connections with people and was loved by many.
We are especially grateful to God that just a few weeks before his passing, he gave his life to the Lord. And though our hearts grieve on this side, we have the assurance that those who also know Christ as their personal Savior will see him again.
Our dad was preceded in death by both his parents, Rubystein and Calvin Crawford, his brother Jeffery Williams, maternal grandparents Lula and Elmo Williams, paternal grandparents Arthur J. and Ida Bell Crawford, and paternal aunt and uncle Pastor Minnie and Berthrand Glenn.
Dad leaves behind to cherish his 3 daughters, Britney (James) Williams, Shanice Williams, Tanjeya Williams, and his son Jeron Williams. His brother, Derrick Crawford; his aunt, Beverly Williams; his uncle, Matthew Williams; four grandchildren; and a host of family members and good friends.
