Jim was a Marine veteran, and truly proud to be an American, serving God and our Country. Jim was an amazing Christian! Jimmie and Nancy's love story began February 13, 1960 at a valentines banquet he planned for the youth of FBC Lowell. It was their first date. He planned dramas, musicals, VBS and youth camps that were breathtaking adventures. From writing the scripts to painting the backgrounds and everything in between, he loved creating them all for the kids. Their lives were complete leading children. His proudest moments were surely the time he spent with his family! He was our inspiration and a great mentor! Always passing down both loving wisdom and silly stories. So kind and so patient to help us with anything. Jim went home to be with Jesus, holding Nancy's hand on their 65th dating anniversary.
