John J. "Jack" Donoghue, age 79 went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 28, 2025 after a life rich with experiences. Jack was the loving husband to Ann Z. (Goldrick) Donoghue of Beverly, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage.

Under the blog name, "jackthetravelingman," he documented and shared many of these journeys. Destinations included India, China, Antarctica and Ultimate Africa. He loved capturing these moments with photos and videos and sharing detailed advice to future travelers.
Family and friends were very important to Jack. He loved to tell stories, and follow adventures, particularly those of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking and perfecting recipes at family gatherings. Jack also treasured spending every summer at the family cabin in Weld, Maine.
Jack was a true Boston sports fan, always watching games decked out in team apparel. He loved to root for the Patriots, Bruins, Celtics, and Red Sox; He rarely missed a game.

Dear Ann and family,

We were saddened to hear of Jack's passing. Our paths crossed initially in Boston over 55 years ago. He was a warm and sociable man.

His passion for traveling the world with you, Ann, left a lasting impression, and we can only imagine the countless cherished memories you hold from those journeys.

May you and family find comfort in those memories. Our hearts are with all of you during this time of loss.

With heartfelt condolence,

Tom and Pat Kuczkowski
