We were so saddened to hear of the passing of John. The first time we met John, he and Denise would walk almost daily passed our house and would take the time to stop and pet our Golden and we would chat. It was easy to see that he loved animals as well as people! We knew from that first chat we would become friends, sharing recipes and talking about his love of sports! In the days and weeks ahead, may all the wonderful times you've shared together bring you and the family comfort and peace. We will miss John's presence and will think of him often,
Much Love and Prayers,
Vic and Ceil Grablachoff

John Powers was one of a kind. He had a spirit that made you feel special whenever you were in his presence. I feel so blessed to have known him. God bless his family with strength during this sad time. Judy Cowser.

The very first time I met John was when I went to the real estate office for an interview. John was at the office and spoke with me like he knew me all his life. That was how John would connect with people. He would always find something in common with them. John loved everyone and they loved him. He had a wonderful sense of humor. We will miss you John.
