John "Jack" Randall Sebring, 84 of Painesville, passed away August 22, 2025 at Cardinal Woods Nursing & Rehab Center in Madison. He was born June 6, 1941 in St. Mary, PA to the late James K. and Ann (Radaker) Sebring.

Jack was the owner of Sebring Home Inspection for 30 years. He was Past President and active in the American Society of Home Inspectors of Northeast Ohio and taught classes at Lakeland Community College in Home Inspection. He was proud alumni of Cleveland State University and of Riverside High School and enjoyed attending monthly breakfast meetings with fellow Riverside alumni. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964. Jack was an active volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 62 during his son Shawn's time in Scouts. In the 1980's, Jack loved coaching his sons in youth YBA basketball and Little League & Senior League baseball.

Jack is survived by his wife Roberta (Bodnar) Sebring, his sons Shawn (Michelle) and Daniel (Vicki); his grandchildren Taylor, Josh, Emily, Jacob, Benjamin, Mathew and Elisabeth. He also leaves his brother James and nieces Jennifer, Rebecca and Lauren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Nancy Sebring.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 26th from 6 pm to 8 pm at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Tri-County Bible Church, 2946 Burns Rd., Madison, Ohio with Pastor Joe Tyrpak officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Perry Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Veterans group, Folds of Honor. www.foldsofhonor.org.
