Joseph Busichio Obituary

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Michele (Tarantino), and sons Lorenzo (Madi) and Luke, and daughter Michele (Busichio) Maley (John, deceased), and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Michael (Susan), and sister Doreen Enderle (Albert).
He was self-employed with Busichio & Sons, Inc, a scrap iron trucking company, for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Columbia High School, class of 1971, where he played both baseball and football. He was a constant figure in the communities of South Orange and Maplewood as a little league coach for many years and a crossing guard.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4pm to 8pm at the Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River, NJ. Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.carmonabolenfh.com.

I met Joe when he was 15 and I was 17. We were each other's first training partners. He was a great guy and I am a better person for having known him. I am heartbroken to receive news of his passing. God bless him.

Joe was a high school friend who when he found out my cousin Michelle was related hounded me to introduce them. I then hounded Michelle to go out on a date with him. She did.
