Joseph Michael DeVuyst

Joseph Michael DeVuyst, 84 of Altha, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, in Marianna. Joeseph was born August 12, 1939, in Midland Park, New Jersey to the late Raymond and Dorothy DeVuyst. Joseph lived in New Jersey for several years where he graduated High School and joined the United States Army. After several years in the Army he begin working at T&W Ice Cream Factory in Ridgewood, New Jersey until moving to Florida in 1979 and began working for Mowrey Elevator Company where he worked for close to twenty years until his retirement. Even though he lived in Florida he still loved hunting and fishing in upstate New York.
Other than his parents Joseph is preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn and Frank DeVuyst.
Survivors include his wife, Maryann DeVuyst; his sons, Michael DeVuyst and his wife Rebecca and Jonathan DeVuyst; his daughters, Suzanne DeVuyst, Christine Sapp and her husband Johnny and Jennifer White and her husband Christopher; his brothers, Raymond and Kenneth DeVuyst and his grandchildren, Amy Gearhart, Lexie DeVuyst, Abby DeVuyst, Elijah Etheridge, Hunter Ramsey, Emilio DeVuyst, Bella DeVuyst, Jay DeVuyst, Trinity DeVuyst, Jase White and Jessa White.
