Joseph A. Teller

Joseph A. Teller, Sr., 62, of Green Bay, passed away late Tuesday evening, November 19, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family following a brave battle with cancer. He was born on February 5, 1962, son of the late Hugh John and Jeanette (LaMotte) Teller. Joseph was known for his expertise in being a "Jack of All Trades". He could fix anything, even a broken heart, as he would often say, Joe was also well known around the area for his fine mechanic and tree service work until his last days. He took great pride in being a grandfather and was always there when needed; from showing how to string a guitar to giving the shirt off his back. Joe could find humor in any situation, cracking jokes and making people smile. He made it his job to give people the most unique nicknames, such as Aw-Shit, PIA or Blinker to name a few. Joseph is survived by his son: Cameron Teller; two daughters: Ahsaun Adams and Amber Teller; 11 grandchildren: Natavia, Shonee and Jaquoi Adams, Laticia Trevan, Nyasia, E'Mani, Lily and Kahmari Teller, Ariana, Zayden and Zion Lopez-Teller; two great-grandchildren: Dezi and Luka and one more on the way; brothers and sisters: Brenda (Putt) Skippergosh, Kerry Teller-Picotte John (Leslie) Teller,, Frank Teller, Shirley Teller, Joni (Rudy, Sr.) Beltran, Wanda Teller, Luanne Saldana and Lorrie Teller; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Joseph was preceded in death by two sons: Joseph Teller, Jr. and Jeremy Teller; sisters: Crystal Teller, Barb Teller and twin sister Judy Teller; his parents: Hugh and Jeanette Teller; paternal grandparents: Jerome and Rose Teller; maternal grandmother: Adele LaMotte Peters; Visitation for Joseph will begin on Friday afternoon, November 22, 2024 at Reinke Funeral Home & Cremation Service, (formerly Legacy Funeral Chapel & Gathering Center) 838 S Fisk Street, Green Bay, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning, November 23, 2024 at Reinke Funeral Home & Cremation Service from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds. Pallbearers will be John, Jr. Dave, Wayne, Dusty, Nate and Clayton.
