OXFORD: Judith B. (Holmes) Sgariglia, 82, of Oxford, passed away on January 4, 2022.
In loving memory of a sweet and loving Wife and Mother Judith leaves behind her husband of 64 years Anthony E. Sgariglia; 3 sons Anthony J. Sgariglia of Oxford, Michael B. Sgariglia and his fiancé Cynthia Cormier of Auburn, Joseph P. Sgariglia and his wife Tammy of Oxford; her twin daughters Sandra Moody of Webster, Susan Saad of Oxford; also her 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Judith was born in Webster daughter to the late parents Bernard T. Holmes and Dorothy (Trepkus) Holmes.
Judith taught ceramics for years and was especially known for the realism of the eyes in all her work. More than anything she loved to garden, spring and summer flowers were her great joy. She also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds visiting her gardens. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
There will be no service. Family will gather privately when the flowers are in bloom.
