She was born on May 1, 1997 in Janesville, WI, the daughter of Stacy Thayer and Charles Fox. Justis was a 2015 graduate of Parker High School.
Justis in her younger years did modeling for Ford modeling and was featured in Claire's, Kellogg's, and Nike amongst others. She was a true beauty inside and out. She previously worked as a barista and an assistant manager at Starbucks. Justis enjoyed doing people's makeup and had previously worked at Ulta as well. Recently, she had taken up doing tattooing and very much enjoyed tattooing herself and others. She loved photography, nature, hiking, and was a great artist. Justis loved thrifting for herself and others. She was a free spirit who fiercely loved her daughter, family, and many friends. She was the light of the room and adored by many. Justis was the sweetest, funniest, and most creative soul. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her daughter, Aura Love; mother, Stacy (Todd) Kroeze of Janesville, WI; father, Charles Fox of Chicago, IL; brothers and sisters, Kaleb Henthorn, Cheyenne Henthorn, Kyla (Nick Strunz) Kroeze, David Kroeze, Dalton Kroeze, Rae-Ann Westergaard and Spencer Reine; grandparents, Wayne and Shyla Thayer, and Patricia Kroeze; great grandmother, Lila Applebee; niece and nephews, Natalie, Jameson and Kai; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her cousins, Ty Thayer and Rhiannon Applebee; great uncle, Jerry Applebee; and good friend, Greydon.
A visitation of remembrance for Justis will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for Aura's care.
