I didn't get to know this man as well as I could've but he was so kind to everyone. Always had the guts to say the humor reserved for the boys only around the women. Love you hotdogs bro can't wait to cya again

He would ALWAYS walk me to my math class and share some of his favorite monster with me, and then he would head off to seminary. I always looked forward to our conversations and his singing on the way to class. Love you Justus

Jennifer and Bryce, I just learned of Justus' passing from a friend the day of the funeral and I regret I was unable to attend. I go walking to the cemetery and visit my wife who is there everyday. I saw the freshly dug grave and other preparations for the graveside services while I was there this morning and I wondered whose grave-site this could be. Now I know. My heart is broken and aches for you and the family. I can't think of anything more tragic than losing a child. The Lord give you strength and solace during this difficult time. George Ramjoué

Justus was an absolute light to all of us. He spread that light and his music everywhere he went.
Justus was so helpful at youth activities asking how he could help. We loved having Justus in our Trek family last year. He would sing to help us pass the trail time better. He pushed, pulled, walked and visited with everyone on the various wagons and companies. He loved cracking the bullwhip and got good at it on our short trail breaks. We will miss him... until we meet again.

I always loved when Justus would visit my classroom and tell me about all the wonderful things he was working on. He was always honest with me about his struggles and had a positive outlook. I know he'll be serving others on the other side.

I remember this time where a few of us were out past curfew and he was just singing his heart out which kinda scared us because we thought we were going to get caught. But it made me really happy that he didn´t care what anyone else thought and was just being himself.

All the time. Everyday. 24/7. Whenever I saw him. He made me feel special and made me smile every single time I saw him.
