Kale G Parman

Kale G Parman passed away at his home in Cleora, Oklahoma at the age of 79 surrounded by his loving family. Kale, who was known to most as KG, was born on July 24, 1945 in Cedarvale, Kansas to John Reed Parman and Juanita T. (Landrum) of Elgin, Kansas.
KG attended his Sophomore year at the Oklahoma Military Academy (OMA) in Claremore, Oklahoma and graduated from high school in Peru, Kansas in the class of 1963. After high school, KG attended Okmulgee Tech and returned to OMA to attend junior college.
He was a skilled welder who started his career at Phillips Petroleum. He moved on to work at Chicago Bridge and Iron where he became an underwater welder and a member of the Boilermakers Union. As an underwater welder, he traveled the globe working for companies such as Seacon and Oceaneering.
During his lifetime, KG owned several businesses including a pecan orchard, an oil and gas production company, and GPRM.
He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, attending auctions, and collecting antique guns. KG was always on the hunt for the next great deal because he loved buying and trading. KG was a member of the Cleora Baptist Church. He was also a proud member of the Cherokee Nation.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, John R. Parman and Landrum E. Parman, two sisters, Geraldine Sawyer and Maxine Rutter.
The family includes his former wife and the mother of their son, Judith Ann (Sanborn) Parman of Rockwall, Texas. His son Kalon Eugene Parman and wife Lori Sue (Korn) of Dallas, Texas, grandchildren, Katheryn Ann Hendrickson, and husband Sean Christian, Kalon Reed Parman, great-grandchildren, Bella Rae Hendrickson and Kash Eugene Hendrickson, numerous other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita.
The celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 4 p.m. at the Cleora Baptist Church, Pastor Scott Dickerson will officiate.
