Kathleen Marie (McAuliffe) Parchesky, 79, of Walpole formerly of Medway died November 2 at her home. She was the wife of the late Philip E. Parchesky who died in 2009.
Born in Milford, February 12, 1945, the daughter of the late James and Catherine Avis (Ruhan) McAuliffe, Kathleen was raised in Hopedale and later moved to Medway where she raised her six children.
A registered nurse, she was a graduate of St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester. She had been a nurse at Milford Regional Hospital for the majority of her career.
Kathleen enjoyed antiquing, dining out, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a long time parishioner of St. Joseph Parish in Medway.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Parchesky of Stamford, Connecticut, Patrick Parchesky and his wife Mary Grace of Washington Township, New Jersey, Monica St. Louis and her husband Scott of Walpole, Maria Parchesky of New York City, Peter Parchesky and his wife Coleen of Wimberly, Texas, and Adam Parchesky of Bellingham.
She was the sister of the late Mary Crimmins and James McAuliffe, Jr.
Kathleen is also survived by her grandchildren, Katie, Sean, James, Faith, Ryan, Robbie, Mia, Hannah, Cecilia, and Rose.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 8 at St. Joseph Church in Medway at 10:00 am.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, November 7 from 6-8 pm in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Purple Heart Foundation, PO Box 49, Annadale, VA 22003.
