She worked at Ball PamAm Plant Company (which was acquired by Yoder Brothers) in product development, as a harvest manager, and finally as HR manager. She then went to work for Appalachian Material Services for approximately 24 years as a manager of their biosolids firm.
Kathy was a person who had many talents and a huge heart for helping others. Kathy was known by all for her exceptional cooking. She loved to cook for family, friends, and all sizes of events. Over the years, she enjoyed spending time gardening, taking care of her plants, and being on the
water.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan (Snyder) Slobodzian; stepfather, Leon Slobodzian; stepbrother; Leon Slobodzian Jr.; and grandparents.
