Keith loved music, enjoyed the beach, and most of all, loved his family.
He is survived by his mother, Jewel Hammonds Chavis; his son, Keith Hammonds Jr.; his daughter, Delilah Faye Hammonds; his brother, Clayton Hammonds; his girlfriend, Kelly Henderson of the home; his aunts and uncles, Wanda Kay Oxendine, Cynthia Oxendine, Jeanette Brown, Robert Hammonds, Judy Hammonds, Keith Oxendine, and Charlene Bass; and special friend of the family, Jeff Marks. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by, his maternal grandparents, Robert Hammonds, and Flossie Oxendine, and his sister, Betty Jewel Hammonds.
A visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Smyrna Baptist Church, with the service beginning at 3:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Carl A. Pevia. Burial will follow the service at Robeson Memorial Park.
The family will also be receiving friends at 1187 Roberts Ave. Apt M2, Lumberton, NC 28358.
Services entrusted to Boles-Biggs Funeral Home in Lumberton.
