Keith Edward Urbansky, 52, of Oberlin, died Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at University Hospital, Cleveland. Born on March 16, 1973, in Oberlin, he was son of Steve and Elizabeth Urbansky. Keith was a 1991 Graduate of Wellington High School. He attended LCCC and received his bachelor's degree from Clevland State and furthered his education at Kent State.
Keith was a member of the Local 23 Bricklayers Union where he was a pointer cleaner calker, specializing in restoring old buildings. His handy work can be found throughout the Cleveland area and on the campus of Oberlin College. Keith proudly restored the century home his family lives in. He also enjoyed helping others with their own construction needs. Outside of work, he was known as Coach Keith. He began coaching soccer with the Oberlin Rec League, staying with his team through the 8th grade and then made the jump to assistant high school coach.
When he was not working or coaching, Keith enjoyed spending time with the boys, attending NASCAR races, fishing, 4 wheeling, or antiquing with Chrystal. He was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Most of all, Keith cherished his family and was a dedicated and very present father, husband, and son in the lives of those he loved.
Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Chrystal (nee Sturgill) Urbansky; sons, Owen, Alec, Avan, and Ean; his parents, Steve and Betty Urbansky; mother and father-in-law, Lynn and Bill Sturgill; sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Ben Hartman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Keith was preceded in death by infant son, Conner James Urbansky.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Wellington Reservation, 535 Jones Road, Wellington. A reception will follow until 7 p.m. A private burial will take place at Brighton Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.

Our deepest sympathies to Betty and Steve for the devastating loss of their only son, Keith. I can´t even imagine the loss and heart ache you both are experiencing now.
Keith was a lot of fun. As the oldest cousin, he was always nice, patient, and kind to Aaron & Gretchen. They have a lot of good memories of family reunions with Keith and the whole family.
We extend our sympathy to his wife Crystal and their sons as well. May God comfort each of you during this very difficult time of grieving. May all the memories of all the good times with Keith bring much comfort to each of you!
We regret that we were not able to attend the memorial service for Keith. We were not able to change our work schedules. Gretchen and her family were already out of the country on vacation at the time. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
Sincerely,
Beth & Aaron Lucius
