With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kenneth "Ken" Witt, a beloved husband, father, and community member, who left us peacefully on July 26, 2025, fifteen days after celebrating his 65th birthday. Ken will forever be remembered for his enduring spirit, commitment to service, and the immense love he held for his family.

Born on July 11, 1960, Ken was a family man and a committed handyman. Ken was known for his ability to fix almost anything, often stepping in to help neighbors and friends. As a coach, he mentored countless young individuals, imparting life-long skills and fostering a loving sportsmanship spirit. His leadership skills also bore fruits in his role as a Boy Scout Leader, molding young men to be responsible and upright individuals.

As a testament to his dedication and hard work, Ken received several recognitions and achievements. He proudly attained the rank of Eagle Scout, testified to his commitment and dedication to the scouting principles. Among the boating community, he was a respected steward of the sea, serving as Commodore of White Rocks Yacht Club and later being awarded the Admiral of the Chesapeake Bay. He was also a Master Mason, further asserting his commitment to service and community.

Above all his accomplishments, Ken's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Debra Witt, daughter, Amanda Cook, husband Matthew and son, Kenny Witt, wife Claire as well as his grandchildren Alexis, Logan and Blake. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Helen Witt (nee Smith). Ken's spirit will live on through his loved ones and the countless lives he touched throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life for Ken will be held on August 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the family home, 110 Bar Harbor Rd, Pasadena Maryland. This will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together to remember Ken, share cherished memories and celebrate the remarkable life that he lived.

In remembering Ken, we reflect on a life well-lived and a man well-loved. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the community that he so passionately served. He will forever remain in our hearts, and his legacy will continue to inspire us.
