Kevin Armbruster

Kevin E. Armbruster, 39, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, peacefully at his home in Glendive, Montana. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements.
Kevin was born February 17, 1985, in Elizabeth, Kentucky, one of three children of Rhonda JoAnn Welch. Kevin's favorite pastime growing up was fishing with his grandfather. His family moved to Glendive in 1994, and he graduated from Dawson County High School with the Class of 2003.
After high school, Kevin worked jobs primarily in the construction and roofing industry. He also spent time at UPS and worked a summer job for the City of Glendive.
Kevin loved to watch football, basketball, and baseball and enthusiastically supported his favorite teams: the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Braves. He eagerly followed WWE wrestling as well. During summertime, he could be found on the softball diamonds playing games and tournaments with local Glendive teams. He took great pleasure in attending live concerts, especially Dope and Disturbed.
Kevin is fondly remembered by his family, friends, and classmates as a happy, fun, and easy-going guy. His devoted golden retriever companion Jackson, whom Kevin raised from a puppy, was always by his side, and the dog meant the world to him.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rhonda and Alan Hoiland, Glendive; his siblings and step-siblings, Scott (Julia) Brown, Adam Armbruster, Thomas (Kathy) Hoiland; his nieces and nephews, Abby, Emily, Ashlyn, Madison, Luke, Daniel, Shiloh; his best friends, Jerry Smith, Clint Danardi, and LaRissa Nicholson; and his former fiancé, Christina Hansen.
