THE LORD GIVETH AND THE LORD TAKETH AWAY
Kevin Lee (Earney) Hayes Dec. 04, 1959 - Nov. 01, 2024
On Friday, Nov. 01, 2024 @ 11:12 p.m. Kevin Hayes Left our world and entered The Kingdom of God.
He was the eldest of 5 children. He was 64 years old.
Kevin had a strong spirit, a gentle soul, and a loving heart.
Kevin was a proud step-dad to Jeromy, Jessica, and Jason. Second grandpa to Kaylee, Brayden, Maximus, Maverick, Luke, Tyler, and great-granddaughter, Elaina Ann. He adored his fur babies, Elle, Ally Mae, Couper Wayne, and Bootsy.
He is survived by his Husband, Tony Hayes, Versailles, MO; his Father, Donald Earney, Mother, Laurie Pierce, Sisters, Jolene Bailey, Dawn Wheldon, and Lisa McNeil. His baby Brother, Anthony Martinson, preceded him in death. He has many nieces and nephews, extended family, plus many, many friends.
Everyone who met Kevin, loved him. He was loyal, honest, and caring. Kevin was truly a gift to us all. He loved thrift shopping, always looking for glassware. He couldn't get enough of it.
He was an artist, when younger, and took his art into preparing amazing food. He was a great chef. He loved to decorate, especially for Christmas. He loved his many plants on or around the porch, where he spent many hours. He loved to dance when younger.
His memory will be forever cherished by us all. He will always be loved and missed. We will forever carry him in our hearts until we meet again.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home on Versailles.
