Kevin Hooks, 68, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025. Kevin was born to the late Walter and Beatrice (Boyle) Hooks on November 8, 1956, and grew up in Firestone Park.
He was a graduate of Garfield High School and worked at Reiter Dairy/Dean Foods for 27 years. He enjoyed playing guitar, cooking holiday dinners, watching football and baseball, and having fun with his dogs. Kevin had a kind heart and a forgiving spirit, and he will be dearly missed.
Kevin is survived by his lifelong partner, Jenny Benson, two brothers Tom (Cindy) Hooks and Mark Hooks, three sisters Paula (Brad) Haben, Susan (Dave) Kirkland, and Nancy (Darin) Springford, sister-in-law Sandi Hooks, and nine nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert Hooks and Jim Hooks.
There will be a get-together to celebrate his life with family and friends in the near future to be announced. Please, if able, bring joy and kindness to the one you are with, others around you, or a stranger. They take away nothing, but give so much.
"I have loved you with an everlasting love." Jeremiah 31:3
