He is survived by his loving wife, Billie Jean Jones; children: Gregory Jones, Dennis (Amber) Jones and Patricia (Edward) Willingham; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his daughter, Elaina Jones; sister, Patricia Briggs; brother, Richard Jones; and daughter-in-law, Laura Jones.
Kevin was a graduate of Corning Painted Post West High School, class of 1973. He worked for Corning, Inc. from 1977 to 2012, retiring with 35 years of service. He was married to Billie Jean Turner on June 16, 1979 in Painted Post, NY.
He will be remembered for his love of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. In his spare time, he avidly attended high school football games to cheer on the youth. He collected sports memorabilia and enjoyed going on trips with his wife.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning, NY. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 12:00 pm, Celebrant Barb Rossi officiating. Burial will take place in the family plot in Chapel Knoll Cemetery, Painted Post, NY.
