Laura Hoelscher Obituary

Laura was born November 3, 1948 (the day that Truman defeated Dewey, as her mother liked to remind her) in Chicago, IL, to the late Ambrose and Lois (Svaniga) Hoelscher. She obtained her Doctorate degree from Purdue University and worked as the Editor of the Journal of Extension for over 30 years.
Laura was a proud member of the Democratic Party and an avid reader. She also enjoyed a good Manhattan.
Surviving is her niece: Sarah (Robert) Bandemer; brother: John Hoelscher; and aunt, Lodanna (Svaniga) Crossland.
She is preceded in passing by her parents and aunt: Lora Svaniga.
