He was born March 16, 1935 to Herbert Minnick and Catherine Sparks Minnick. He graduated from Bloomington High School and Indiana University. He spent the majority of his working career with Westinghouse here in Bloomington.
He leaves behind his wife of 67 years Esther Eads Minnick, his sons Andrew (Lisa) Minnick, Benjamin Minnick, daughter Jennifer Andrews (Alistair), grandsons Levi Minnick (Laura), Jordan Minnick (Rubie), Bryan Minnick, Carson Andrews and one great grandson Guinness Minnick.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Peggy Sisson, Leah Jane Stevens and grandson Jackson Stone Andrews.
Allen Funeral Home and Crematory 4155 South Old State Road 37 has been entrusted with the arrangements and graveside services will be held at Valhalla Memory Gardens on Friday May 30, 2025 at 2:30PM.
