Louie M. Wright, age 73, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by family. Mr. Wright was born March 22, 1951, in Anna, IL, son of the late Charles and Wilma Wright.
On January 16, 1971, he married Patricia Zoll Wright. She survives. Also surviving are three children: Tommy Wright and Tammy Copeland, both of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Tyler (Anja) Wright of Commerce, GA; and 9 grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Brandyn, Tori, Molly, Nick, Jace, Camden, Declan, Amara, and Aliyah.
Louie had been a district manager for Frito-Lay for 17 years. He then began his 34-year career as a self-taught and self-employed IT specialist. He has also co-owned/operated Old Town Road Flea Market alongside his wife since 2020. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and vacationing with his family. Louie was especially proud of his grandchildren. He cherished his role as Husband, Dad, and Papa.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by five siblings: Jay,
Scott, Del, and Mitchell Wright and Lula Brimm.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2024, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Rombauer Cemetery. Condolences: www.whitesandersfuneralhome.com
