Louis G. Prange, 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born April 30, 1943 in St. Louis, MO and had lived there most of his life until relocating to Palatine, IL and currently Round Lake, IL. Louis proudly played rugby in college and earned one of his Master's Degrees from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. He was employed as an actuary in numerous companies and for himself. He was also a member of St. Lawrence Episcopal Church in Libertyville, where he was active in book club & enjoyed, "dinner with friends".
Surviving are his 5 children, Celeste Zayakosky, Nathan Prange, Samuel Prange, Bryna Darling & Jason Prange and by siblings, Barbara (Rick) Hudelston, Marilyn (Roger) Sylvester, Robert (Cathy) Prange & Elise Durham. Also, by many nieces and nephews and close friend, James Burgett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Mildred Prange and by a brother, Fred Prange.
A memorial service will be held at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church, 125 W. Church Street, Libertyville on a later date. Interment will be at Bellefontine Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
