Mara Elaine Sullivan

Sullivan – Mara Elaine Sullivan, age 17, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away December 9, 2022. She was born on December 5, 2005, in Jacksonville, Florida to Billy Sullivan, Jr. and Shelly Rowe Sullivan. Mara was a student at West Nassau High School and was in the 11th grade. She was a hard worker and was employed at the The Sheik. Mara was very head strong about fulfilling her dreams of becoming an EMT. She was adventurous and loved going to the beach and the mountains. Mara was taken far too soon and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Sullivan, Jr.; great-grandparents, Toby and Gayle Quarles.
Mara leaves behind her mother, Shelly Sullivan; brothers, Nicholas Sullivan, Austin Sullivan; grandparents, "Papa" Richard Colson, "GiGi" Janice Peeples, "Papa" Thomas O'Neal, "Grandma" Linda O'Neal; uncles Allen Peeples, Billy Whitaker; aunt, "Nanny" Sandra Whitaker; several other extended family members; countless number of friends.
The family would like to recognize Mara's GiGi for doing such a wonderful job with raising her. If it was not for her, Mara would not be who she was.
A Celebration of Mara's Life will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home with Pastor David Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
