Marilynn Francis Wentland, 86, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away October 21, 2022. She was born May 27, 1936 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Frank and Irene (Rogozinski) Cichocki.
Marilynn was a member if the Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation where she was very active and involved in numerous church activities. She was a member of the American Association of University Women and took part in several book clubs in the area. Marilynn worked as the supervisor of the Speech and Hearing Clinic at BGSU for many years.
She is survived by her daughters Ruth A. Debrot (Fred Lungo) of Attleboro, Massachusetts, Julie W. Dees (Roger) of Rome, Georgia and Alison "Dee Dee" Wentland (Thomas Stadler) of Weston, Ohio, grandchildren Kathryn Kirk (Corbin), Amanda Owen (Maloy) and Brittany Gunnett and great-grandchildren Noah Gunnett, Oliver Gunnett, Lily Turnpening, Macy Turpening, Luca Owen and Everett Warejko.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 at 11:00am at the Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 20189 North Dixie Highway, Bowling Green. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank (https://toledonwohiofoodbank.networkforgood.com/projects/12831-toledo-northwestern-ohio-food-bank), The American Association of University Women (AAUW) (https://my.aauw.org/donation-product-detail), or the Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation (contact treasurer at [email protected]).
