While at Middlesex, he volunteered at the MCC Law Center, a community mediation center.

He also excelled at track and was a member of the North Middlesex Regional Track & Field team. In addition, Mark had a deep appreciation for music and played the saxophone. Mark had a gentle heart and a special bond with the family cats, who were always part of his life.
Mark will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful person who wanted to make the world a better place, and he will be dearly missed.

Sharing a cabin with Mark at camp never had its dull moments. He was always the camper you could depend on whether it being a leader or sharing a laugh. I´ll cherish the memory of when I first met Mark as his CIT when we went on a trip to water country. All of us rocked visors and applied extra sunscreen that day. He was sharp, unapologetically himself and had an infectious laugh and smile. My deepest condolences to everyone affected by this tragedy. Mark, you are a true legend.
