Marlena Chantal Maillho entered into the gates of heaven on Friday, April 18, 2025. Marlena was born in New Orleans on June 25, 1993, and lived her whole life there. Marlena went to St. Dominic School and graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School in 2011. Marlena loved to read and loved far too many different books to name here but loved Harry Potter the most. Marlena was a babysitter at heart, and she shared that love with each and every child that she watched. Marlena will be forever remembered by her father, Paul Maillho, her mother, Shelley Tusa Maillho, brothers, Justin and Charles Maillho, and her furbaby, Donut. She was beloved by her many friends and family members and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are invited to a public visitation on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Jacob Shoen and Son Funeral home on 3827 Canal Street. Mass will follow the visitation in the adjoining chapel, followed by a burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery #2 located at 5000 Canal Street.
Family guest books may be signed at www.legacy.com.
