I knew Mary many years ago. We were teenagers attending First Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. I loved Mary playing while I sang. When I changed keys which happened too frequently, Mary changed right along with me. I am so glad to have looked Mary up after all these years and am delighted to see what a special woman she was.

In 2022 and again in 2023 Ms Mary performed for First Baptist church of Livingston as a fundraiser for the youth. She was amazing. It is something none of us will ever forget
Afterwards, we went up to speak with her and she continued to play, her fingers moving across the keys while she engaged in conversation with us. She had such a wonderful God given talent and we were all blessed to have her in our lives. These are some of her students( from the 1970s) that attended. As long as we are alive, she will never be forgotten. We love you Miss Mary and we will see you in heaven! What a reunion that will be!
