Mary Ann Pratt Obituary
Mary Ann Pratt, of Lower Nazareth Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 25, 2024, at the age of 77. She was the beloved wife of Philip R. Pratt Sr., with whom she celebrated 45 years of loving marriage. Born on June 16, 1946, in Sellersville, she was a cherished daughter to the late Milton and Helen (Freese) Mininger.
Mary Ann's dedication to her country was evident in her 21 years of honorable service in the US Army, where she excelled as an administrator and inspector general. Upon retiring from the Army, she transitioned to the banking industry, where she continued to apply her administrative talents as a clerk and administrative assistant until her second retirement.
Even after her professional career, Mary Ann's entrepreneurial spirit shone through as a Longaberger Basket Sales Representative, where she shared her passion for craftsmanship with others.
A woman of deep faith, Mary Ann was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Telford and an active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hecktown. Her involvement with the church groups and the Altar Guild spanned many years, and her contributions to these communities were both significant and heartfelt.
Survivors: Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Philip Sr.; son, Philip R. Pratt Jr., and his wife, Casey, of Nazareth; grandchildren, Philip D. Pratt and Mckayla Pratt; siblings, Nancy Reith, Leslie Mininger, Brian Mininger, and Robin Coppinger. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters.
Services: A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hecktown, 323 Nazareth Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Another viewing will be held at the church on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the start of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial with full military honors will follow at Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. I met this woman in the US Army in April 1978 and married her in August 1978. We were married 45 years as of August 2023. I truly love her and will miss her terribly. Life will not be the same.
