Michelle R. Hildreth, age 61, of Akron passed away on April 19, 2025, after her short but brave battle with cancer. She was born on April 20, 1963 to the late Gino Cucuzza and Barbara Sinnett. Michelle was a 1981 graduate of East High School. She went on to receive her associate's degree. Michelle worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist and many part-time jobs as well. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music, fishing, playing pool and spending time with friends.
Michelle is survived by her daughter Taylor Bartholet (Troy Thompson); step-father Bill Israel; her significant other Steve Hays; siblings Pat (Mike) Krbec, Sandi Lott, Vicki (Dean) Dennewitz, Tony (Heidi) Cucuzza, and Gina Campbell; Taylor's father Joe Bartholet; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Michelle is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Kenny Lott.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, with a memorial service to begin at 6:00 p.m. all at Newcomer Funeral Home.
