Michelle Lynn "Mickey" McGrandy

Michelle Lynn "Mickey" McGrandy, a resident of St. Charles, Michigan, former resident of Hemlock, Buena Vista, and a native of Bridgeport, Michigan died on January 3, 2023 after a hard-fought two year battle with cancer. She was 51 years old.
Born in Bridgeport, Michigan on January 27, 1971, the daughter of Ricky Robert "Rick" Hauk and Lynn Ann (Newbold) Hauk, Michelle grew up in Bridgeport where she was a graduate of Bridgeport High School. She attended college at Central Michigan University and enjoyed her many years with Community State Bank in St. Charles along with other local financial institutions.
On May 16, 1992 she married the love of her life, Scott McGrandy, in Bridgeport. They made there home in Hemlock and Buena Vista, Michigan before moving to St. Charles twenty-five years ago. They were blessed with the births of three children and Michelle's favorite times were spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren along with opportunities for snowmobile trips, Jeep excursions, camping, traveling, scrapbooking, painting, and crafts.
In addition to Scott, her beloved husband of over thirty years, she is survived by her children, Josh, Morgan and her fiance, Dave Moore, and Zach McGrandy; her four grandchildren; parents, Rick & Lynn Hauk; grandmother, Betty Hauk; her brother, Kevin Hauk and his son, Kevin Jr.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike and Dawn McGrandy, David and Connie McGrandy, LeAnn Pajcic and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Ed and JoAnne McGrandy.
A Memorial Service will be held at McGeehan Funeral Home, St. Charles Chapel, 209 Entrepreneur Drive, St. Charles, Michigan, on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2PM. Friends may gather from 10AM until the time of service. For further information please phone 989-865-6838.
