Visitation Grace Lutheran Church Wayne, Sunday 5p.m. ~ 7p.m. December 22, 2024, Arrangements with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne
Interment Greenwood Cemetery Wayne. She passed away Thursday December 19th, 2024, at Wayne Countryview Care. Memorials may be directed to the Niemann Family for later designation.

Nancy Jo Niemann was born January 14, 1954, in Wakefield to Laurence Johannas and Frances Mary (Pippitt) Hansen. She was Baptized and Confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wayne. She attended a one room country school District #61 and graduated from Wayne High School. Nancy married Alan Ray Niemann June 30, 1973, in Seward. The couple lived in Seward and then moved to Wayne. While living in Wayne, Nancy first worked at PAMIDA, and later the First National Bank in Wayne, and then the REA in Wayne. Her most recent job was at the Wayne Vision Center. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cross stitch.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Alan; their children, Mark (Kristine) Niemann of Wayne, Matthew (Lara) Niemann of Newcastle, and Kimberly (Joey) Bartholomaus of Cedar Bluffs; 8 grandchildren; Korrina Niemann, Lindsay Niemann, Erica Niemann, Hank Niemann, Ellise Niemann, Peyton Bartholomaus, Ali Bartholomaus, and Jana Bartholomaus; brother, Larry (Kate) Hansen of Wayne; aunt, Margaret Hansen of Wayne; brother-in-law, Ron Rohde of Beemer; several in-laws; nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Frances Hansen; cousins, Rick Pippitt, Deborah Hansen and Kevin Hansen; parents-in-law, Ray and Millie Niemann; and sister, Verna Mae Rohde.
