Nayan Chatur Patel
August 4, 1980 – August 9, 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we inform our family and friends that our beloved Nayan Chatur Patel of Hamilton, New Jersey, passed away at his home on Friday, August 9, 2024. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Nayan was raised in Clifton, NJ, amongst family and friends. He attended Rutgers University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and worked in the financial field.
Nayan will be remembered for his love of sports, particularly the San Francisco 49ers and the Rutgers football team. Despite him being an adamant, stubborn, and competitive individual, he was full of laughs, a great entertainer, laid back, embracing, full of love, and always desiring the best for everyone. He had a passion for cooking and a love for food, especially White Castle, Arby, and his all-time Clifton favorite, Rutt Hutt.
Predeceased by his father, Chatur Patel; he is survived by his mother, Kamalkanta; his children, Diya and Shaan, and their mother, Reena Patel; his sister, Neela Patel and his brother-in-law, Phillip Smith.
We will miss our beloved Nayan and forever remember him in our hearts and memories.
The funeral ceremony and cremation service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 Route 27, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
