Patricia D. McWilliams (nee Dooley), 68, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed peacefully on March 4, 2025 with her loving family by her side. Pat was first and foremost the devoted mother to her cherished daughters Joan and Rose. She was the person you could always call for help and the one who would always be there if you needed her. Pat was a native Philadelphian and an avid Philadelphia sports fan. She had a particular love for The Phillies and was a longtime season ticket holder. While she was unfaltering in her support of her hometown teams, she eagerly celebrated her beloved Nittany Lions as both she and her daughters were proud alums. As much as Pat loved her sports teams, her passion for Broadway musicals was unparalleled. She shared this with her daughters and all three of them could famously recite the lyrics to almost any musical. Her high school Alma mater, Sacred Heart Academy, was a cherished place for her. As student council president, she played basketball, tennis and field hockey. She also participated in the drama and glee club and served as spirit team captain. She was an active member of the alumni association and worked there for a time in the front office. Pat’s work ethic was second to none. After graduating college, her first job was working with disabled adults at PEP. She advanced her career, received her MBA at Temple and moved into a Relationship Manager role with major financial institutions. She was an avid swimmer as a child and reconnected with that passion later in life as a swim instructor for children.
Pat was the beloved mother of Joan and Rose (Angus Coutts) McWilliams. Sister in law of Kelly (Jill) McWilliams of Kennett Square, Kathleen (John) Quillen of Malvern, Harry (Karen) McWilliams of Blue Bell. Stepdaughter of Ellen McWilliams of Lower Gwynedd. Stepsister of Ed (Theresa) Siegler and Joe (Lynn) Siegler. Cherished Aunt of Michael, Matt, Sarah, Ben, Jack, Emily, Julia, Reynold, Maya, Sarah, Dawson, Samantha and David. Pat was proceeded in death by her loving husband Daniel T McWilliams, Jr and her brother James “Jimmy” Dooley.
