Patricia Ann Shorey, age 92, of D'Iberville, MS passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024.
Patricia was born on September 24, 1931 in New York, NY to the late Clarence William Kinsman and Helen Balentyne. She was a high school graduate and served in the US Navy. During her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, gardening and cooking. She loved to travel and spend time with her church family.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; her children, Desiree Konig and Robert Lorin Lizana; and by her siblings, Richard Donor and Ronald Donor.
Left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Samuel Shorey; children, Jaime Lizana (Chryl), Sue Anne Krouce (Charles) and Valarie Lizana; grandchildren, Jesse Lizana, Rustin Pearson, Johnnie Pearson and Jonah Folks; 10 great grandchildren; and by her cat, Angel.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to nurses and staff at Merit Health and to Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home and Heritage United Methodist Church for their compassion during this difficult time.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage United Methodist Church. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
