Paula Goforth Obituary

Born in Kings Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Christine Peeler Owens. Paula loved her family and animals. She also would play the piano and sing old gospel hymns. Paula was a competitive person who liked bingo, dirt track racing, and watching game shows on television.
Mrs. Goforth is survived by her children, Daniel foster and Patricia Cochran, both of Blacksburg; her brother Pete Owens, of Morehead City, NC; her sisters, Pat Thomas of Hendersonville, NC, and Louise Kremer of Oak Island, NC; six grandchildren, Ben Foster, Heath Foster, Corbin foster, Danielle Cochran, Michael foster, and Trey Long; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Christine Owens, her sister, Mary Spearman, and her special friend, Mike Stockwell.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, from 1:00 - 2:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cherokee County Humane Society, 163 Progressive Dr, Gaffney, SC 29340, or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
