Peggy S. Denning

Peggy S. (Courson) Denning, 61, of Fairview, died on Monday, November 27, 2022.
She was born on September 14, 1961 to the late Marie Osborn and Jack Courson.
Peggy grew up in the Erie area and graduated from Girard High School in 1979. Following high school she went to work at Pleasant Ridge Manor as a Nurse's Aide for over ten years. Peggy then returned to school, working extensively at Edinboro University graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She later went on to receive a Masters Degree. Following her formal education, Peggy worked at UPMC Hamot in the Neurology Department as a Nurse. She then became the Director of Nursing at Fortis Institute. Peggy went on to work at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center as the Assistant Director.
Peggy loved being home with her family. The summer nights were filled with the ever increasing care of her home garden. Green houses in her back yard were full of flowering plants and the wonderful smells of spring. In addition, she helped to keep chickens at home where she often gave the hard earned eggs to friends and family. She loved her large dogs at home and enjoyed mowing the grass in the back yard. Peggy was a member and past treasurer of the Fairview Garden Club.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Courson.
She will be greatly missed by her family which include, her husband, Tracy Denning whom she married on June 23, 2001; her daughter, Bailey Denning; sisters, Linda Youst and Victoria Karle; brothers, John Courson (Amy) and Chris Courson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. E., Girard.
