She is survived by four children, Vance Ruffin of Covington, Chuck (Kathy) Ruffin of Millington, Tracy (Shane) Peery of Covington and Dan (Monnie) Ruffin of Covington; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Sartain and Ina Wright; seven grandchildren, Scott Ruffin, Erin Peery, Hunter Peery, Brent Ruffin, Blake Ruffin, Colby McClain and Carson Ruffin and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sarah Sartain and her husband, James Sterling Ruffin.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 3 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
