Philip M. Griner, 73, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, June 27, 2025, at The Grove in Bogart, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Griner was born September 3, 1951, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Cleave & Alma Louise Miller Griner. He owned and operated Griner's Service Station for many years and then later Griner Enterprises. He was a man of strong faith who enjoyed time with his family and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Griner of Fitzgerald; daughter, Melissa Griner Kelly and her husband Bruce of Bogart; son, LtCol. Michael Scott Griner, USMC and his wife Lindsey of Stafford, Virginia; grandchildren: Tripp Kelly, Taylor Anne Kelly, Bella Jean Griner, and Aubrey Griner; a brother, Rev. Ronny & Linda Griner of Fitzgerald; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carrie Ann Walker Griner.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
