Mr. Griner was born September 3, 1951, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Cleave & Alma Louise Miller Griner. He owned and operated Griner's Service Station for many years and then later Griner Enterprises. He was a man of strong faith who enjoyed time with his family and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Griner of Fitzgerald; daughter, Melissa Griner Kelly and her husband Bruce of Bogart; son, LtCol. Michael Scott Griner, USMC and his wife Lindsey of Stafford, Virginia; grandchildren: Tripp Kelly, Taylor Anne Kelly, Bella Jean Griner, and Aubrey Griner; a brother, Rev. Ronny & Linda Griner of Fitzgerald; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carrie Ann Walker Griner.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.

Condolences to the family and friends.Mr.Griner a.k.a. passionately called Paw Paw at the Grove. He was a wonderful and funny man. He was a good soul who always made me laugh. He will truly be missed. Continue to eat your Oreos..
