Jim was a self-employed painter before his retirement. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Jim was an avid Syracuse Basketball fan and loved going to see them play at the Carrier Dome. He loved his trips to the Casinos. He was a lifetime member of the Big Flats American Legion
Jim is survived by his sons: Roger (Pamela) Keenan of Painted Post, NY, and Gary Keenan of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Granddaughters Casey (Kyle Bouille) Keenan, Jessica (Sean) Nudd, Grandson Todd (Erica) Reeve, Great Grandchildren Braeden Tuttle, Aubree Tuttle, Conrad Bouille, Delaney Nudd, Maddie Nudd, & Nolan Reeve.
In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his son Richard Keenan.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at 1:00pm at The Big Flats American Legion. Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with Jim's care.
