Ralph Vona Obituary

Ralph served his country overseas in the US Army from 1943 to 1946 with (SHAEF) Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force, directly under General Eisenhower. He later opened Dr. Ralph Vona, DDS Dental Practice on South Street in Addison and was Addison's only dentist from 1953-1990 until he sold his practice.
He was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church and was an altar server until the age of 90. He served as a board member and past President of the Addison School Board. Ralph was an avid golfer, enjoyed extensive travels with his wife through the years, and will be remembered as an easy going, likable guy.
Ralph is survived by his children: Sandra (Frank Cook) Vona of Macungie, PA, Craig (Joanne Reagan) Vona of Addison, NY; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to call at St. Catherine's of Siena Church, 51 Maple St, Addison, NY on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12:00 pm with Fr. Patrick Connor presiding. Burial will be held in St. Catherine's Cemetery. Flint Funeral Home, Addison has been entrusted with Ralph's arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralphs name may be sent to: CareFirst, 3805 Meads Creek Rd, Painted Post, NY 14870.
