Regina Elizabeth Campbell

Regina Elizabeth Campbell, 55, whose caring hands helped others see the world more clearly, completed her journey on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Born in Clarksville, Tennessee on August 3rd, 1970, Regina was raised in Southbury, Connecticut where she developed her lifelong love of family, music, and helping others. She made her home in Virginia Beach, Virginia where she continued to share her warmth, humor, and kindness with everyone around her.
Regina devoted her career to caring for others in the field of ophthalmology, where her compassion and gentle nature touched countless lives and brightened many days. Outside of work, she found joy in life's simple pleasures, cooking meals for her loved ones, reading, and spending time surrounded by family. She was known for her laughter, her generous heart, and her inner strength, which radiated through in everything she did.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jenna and Grayson Conte; her granddaughter, Saylor Helm; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessica Campbell, Sarah and Alfred Asercion, Rachel and Justin Halkovetz, Charlotte Beaty, and Liz and Spencer Glaize; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Sydney, David, Chloe, Jace, Liam, John, Charly, Jonah, and Tucker. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen and Robert Campbell; brothers, Kevin and Peter Campbell; and grandparents, Olive and Larry Ewald, Eliza and Elbee Campbell.
She will be forever loved by all who knew her. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the light she brought into the world will continue to shine through the lives she's touched.
A service to honor Regina's life will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 3445 Princess Anne Rd Virginia Beach, VA 23456, on November 8th, 2025 at 1:00PM.
