Richard Cichon Obituary

Richard was born on March 15, 1948 in Braunschweig, Germany. Richard and his parents Stanislaw and Maria (Skaliwska) Cichon moved to the United States where he met and married Jadwiga Szymanska on June 17, 1978 at St. Florian Church in Hamtramck, Michigan, together they had two children and were married 46 years.
Beloved husband of Jadwiga; loving father of Mark (Elizabeth) and Lisa (Mikkel) Sorensen; and adored grandfather of Nicholas, Anthony and James.
Visitation for Richard will be Friday, July 5, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Hauss-Modetz Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb. The funeral mass for Richard will be Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with an instate time of 9:30 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 18201 23 Mile Road, Macomb.
Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
