Richard Earl "Rick" DeAngelis - U.S. Army Veteran.

Rick DeAngelis, age 78, peacefully departed this life on Friday, June 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the cherished husband and best buddy of 55 years to Bev DeAngelis and a devoted father to Rick (Wendy) and Ryan DeAngelis. He was a proud grandfather to Remington, affectionately known as "Remy," and Reed. He is also survived by his brother, Bob DeAngelis and his wife JoAnn. His daughters-in-law, Yvonne DeAngelis and Shellie DeAngelis both held a special place in his heart. Born on January 30, 1946, to the late Reno (Juanita) and Ruth (Gil) Muench.
Rick was a man of great patriotism. He served in the U.S. Army in Stuttgart, Germany. Rick's professional life was with Hamilton County, where he retired as a Common Pleas Court Bailiff. Most of his career was spent with Judge William S. Mathews, his respected friend and mentor. Rick's life was enriched by his wonderful wife, Bev. Together, they traveled thousands of miles in their RV making friends all over the country. Rick and Bev enjoyed spending their winter seasons in Florida in their later years.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 11:30 a.m., with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. All services will take place at Strawser Funeral Home, located at 9503 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242 https://hospiceofcincinnati.org.
