Also Professor and Chair, Department of Bacteriology, University of Wisconsin, Madison (1965-1981). Survived by his wife of 66 years, Doreothe Glynn Hanson; sons, Michael Hanson Esq. J.D. and his wife Mary, Coon Rapids, MN, Prof. Stephen Hanson Ph.D. and his wife Kristine, Las Cruces, NM, Prof. Thomas Hanson Ph.D. and his partner Erin Mack Ph.D., Newark, DE; grandchildren, Ryan Hanson, Cori (Cassius) Corley, and William Hanson. Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Mary Ann Hanson and siblings, Dwight and Theresa. A memorial mass will be held on Friday June 16th 10:30 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Newman Center, 1203 Fifth Street SE, Minneapolis.
