Ricky was my cousin. I haven't always been as close to my family as I would have liked, and when I did visit I would feel like an outsider, anxious, uncomfortable... until Ricky showed up with a smile and a hug. No matter how much time had passed, with him it only seemed like days. He was loving. He was our protector. He listened to our sins and never judged us. His laugh mirrored mine and i have been hearing it in my dreams. I miss you cousin. I

Rico was a very kind person. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. One time when I was bartenders down at Charklie Brown's, Rico came in and started telling me there wasn't enough liquor in the bar to get him drunk. So, we ended up betting $50. Needless to say, I won the bet! He even paid me. I'm gonna miss him. RIP Rico.

I haven't really known Ricky in his grown up years. But when he was young he was at my house all the time. He was one of my son's best friends. He was a very good young man. The last time I seen Ricky he was at the Quick Shop in north Topeka, I gave him a big hug. That was about 20 some years ago. God bless his parents and sister and children. And all his love ones. He will be so mist. Rest in peace Ricky. I'm sure your in a much better place, with know more pain of any kind. And I pray God will put his loving arms around all his love ones. And hold them tight. In Jesus name amen.
