Richard Leroy Prime passed away Ash Wednesday March 5, 2025. He was born in Wisner, Michigan, June 10, 1942, to William and Katherine Prime. Richard met and married Elaine Harniak July 20, 1963. She preceded him in death on November 3, 2006.He lost his only son Dean on February 22, 2004. Richard then met and married Pamela Kelley on October 24, 2010. They moved to Arizona in 2013. He was employed at Automotive Component Carriers unit of Local 659. He retired from working second shift as a "Semi Truck Driver" August 1, 1997.
Richard was a hard worker. He worked several jobs after retiring. He owned and operated "Primetime Excavating," Selling and installing "Heatmore Wood Stoves." But Richard was best known for being an all-around good guy. Richard will be sorely missed by many.
Surviving is: His devoted wife Pamela Kelley Prime, His stepson Jonathon Kelley and wife Cassandra and three step-grandchildren, Jaiden, Gavin and Ariana.Daughter- in-law Ann Prime, Brother Gale Prime, Sister Phyllis (Frank) Burghy, Sister Sandy Cutting, Sister-in-law Alta Fox, Sister- in-law Rosemary Prime.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, brother William Prime and Bernard Fox along with his sister-in-law Eleanor Prime and brother-in-law Henry Cutting.
A graveside service will be held at St. Elizabeth Cemetery 2100 N. Block Rd. Reese, Mi. 48757 May 20, at 11am. Friends and Family are invited to luncheon following Cemetery Service at St. Elizabeth Church 12835 E. Washington Rd. Reese, Mi. 48757. Those planning an expression of sympathy can send flowers through Frankenmuth Florist 320 S. Franklin St. Frankenmuth, Mi. 48734
