Robert C. Burns

Robert C. Burns, age 50, of York, passed away at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD on February 20, 2026. He was the loving husband of Candice M. (Dean) Burns; together they shared 33 years of marriage.

Robert was born in Baltimore, MD on April 6, 1975 and was the son of the late George Burns Sr. and Deborah Dittert. He graduated from Chesapeake High School and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. Robert enjoyed working out at the gym and spending time at the beach. He also cherished his dog, Beau.

In addition to his loving wife, Candice, Robert is survived by his sons, Brandon Burns and significant other Lindsey Jacobs, and Jordan Burns and wife Brittany, and was the most loving Poppy to his grandbabies, Isabella, Kaylianna, Crue, and Maddox, whom he cherished so much; his brothers, George Burns and wife Bree, and Johnny Capino; as well as the best uncle to all of his nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service in celebration of Robert's life will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 7:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of East York, 3670 E. Market St., York, PA 17402 with Pastor Thomas Almanza officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 4:00PM – 7:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
